Message	I did a 180 in my first Z (an 86NA) on the day I bought it ... was going about 50 and was trying to shift into 5th while gassing it. Turns out I put it in 3rd and went a lot faster than I expected. It was the first "sporty" car I had ever driven ... and the first stick shift ... and the first rear wheel drive. I was fortunate too and walked away with no injuries to me (or the car). It's just one of those things - if you're not used to it, watch out. I don't think age has much to do with it - just experience (though the two coincide occasionally).
